ABOUT
Tom Jarboe, Esq.
A leading legal professional for over 20 years
Tom has been helping clients in the legal profession since 2001 when he first enlisted into the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. After multiple combat tours and traveling the world, Tom honorably exited the military while attending law school. In law school, Tom continued serving veterans at the Veterans Village of San Diego through Thomas Jefferson's Veterans Legal Clinic.
After law clerking with KNL&H, Tom joined the managing partner to set up a business litigation practice in La Jolla. Thereafter, Tom gained personal injury law experience at a boutique firm in Bankers Hill and continued expanding his advocacy in the business litigation realm. In addition, Tom teamed up with several attorneys practicing in real estate litigation, family litigation, and employment litigation.
Coming full circle, Tom later joined forces with a military law practice, where he proudly supported those that served our armed services, including military service members, veterans, and DoD contractors. Additionally, Tom managed his book of practice that focused on a variety of civil litigation aspects, including business law, real property law and consumer debt protection.
Amongst Tom's repertoire of pastime passions, is his penchant for tennis and music, his enthusiasm for molecular gastronomy, and his curiosity for anything related to the life sciences. Although no longer actively licensed as a financial quant, Tom still enjoys a dense read on the markets, Bitcoin or ditigal assets. Other than Military or Rutter practice guides, at the top of Tom's suggested reading list are Anthony Bourdain's 'Kitchen Confidential,' because it laments the lessons learned through the daily grind and toil of hard work - "[W]ithout work we are nothing." ~A.B., and Jennifer Doudna's 'The Code Breaker,' because it demonstrates that through perseverance and passion for one's craft, the greatest of achievements can occur at the most unexpected times - "[T]he discovery is so profound that it changes the fundamental nature of human life." ~J.D. Each inspirational and revered in their own right, both serve as examples that humanity should strive to emulate.
Since early adulthood, law seemed to have always been my calling, and I find the deepest satisfaction in helping those through some of the most stressful situations in their lives. It would be an absolute honor if you decide to have me serve as your legal advisor, counselor, confidant, and advocate. So without further adieu, let us take the next step together in solving your legal issues. ~T.J.
